  • Provide operational, integration, build and manage support; create and maintain documentation including solution requirements specifications, application configuration, and runbooks
  • Support systems integration, web services, backend infrastructure, cloud security, and build/release engineering; assist in automating and administering applications, tools and services
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders; conduct gap analyses and monitor project progress with regular status updates
  • Deliver customer-facing support and manage ticket tracking/resolution in Jira

Position: Applications Support Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 12 Months
Rate: DOE
 
US Citizens and Green cards are Preferred. No 3rd party C2C acceptable.

Role and Responsibility
  • Operational, Integration, Build and Manage Support
  • Create and maintain documentation, including solution requirements specifications, application configuration and operational runbooks
  • Support in systems integration, webservices, backend infrastructure, cloud security, and build / release engineering
  • Support build, manage, automate and administer applications, tools and services
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas of inefficiency and develop recommendations to bridge these gaps
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure that solutions meet business requirements
  • Customer support and ticket tracking/resolution
  • Participate customer facing support
  • Create, update and complete support tickets and Jira's
