Job description

Remote Senior Software Engineer (Java, Microservices, Cloud)

Are you an experienced Java Software Engineer looking for an exciting full-time remote opportunity? Join our dynamic team and work on cutting-edge technologies in Java, Microservices, and Cloud while leading a team of developers!

Role & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java/J2EE applications with Spring Boot & Microservices.
Work with Angular 11 and responsive UI frameworks to build scalable front-end applications.
Lead a team of Developers and SDETs and drive project delivery from onsite.
Optimize web and backend applications for high performance and scalability.
Develop and manage relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and work with NoSQL databases.
Implement Hibernate/JPA for efficient data handling.
Deploy applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure (GCP preferred).
Utilize DevOps and CI/CD tools like Docker, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Git/BitBucket, Maven, and Gradle.
Implement security mechanisms, identity management, and authorization (AWS IAM, policies).
Follow Agile & DevOps practices for seamless software development.
Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high-quality development.
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✅ 8+ years of Java development experience (JDK 8, Spring Framework, Microservices).
✅ Hands-on expertise in RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL) & NoSQL databases.
✅ 3+ years of experience with Hibernate or JPA.
✅ 3+ years leading development teams and ensuring successful project delivery.
✅ Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)—GCP preferred.
✅ Strong knowledge of TDD, BDD, Agile methodology, and DevOps practices.
✅ Familiarity with security design (AWS IAM, policies, authentication).
✅ Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or IT preferred.
✅ Excellent communication & interpersonal skills in a client-facing role.
