  • 5+ years of Collibra experience, including building proofs of concepts, consulting with clients for product alignment, implementing the tool and deploying data management solutions.
  • 5+ years in a managed services role or IT support.
  • Experience with Azure, SQL, PL/SQL and knowledge of Enterprise Metadata Management, MDM/Reference Data, Data Governance, Data Quality and Business Analytics.

Requirements:

  • Server patching, upgrades, maintenance and performance management to ensure application availability per SLA.
  • Enabling and testing new platform features; coordinating testing with cross-functional teams in certification environments after major upgrades.
  • Maintain ingestion of metadata from Tableau and Databricks; uphold data governance policies including the Right to Know.
  • L3 support (TechOps) with third-party coordination and user license management.

Collibra Administrator
Seattle-WA –(Remote)

Key Skills Required
  • Collibra Administrator for Installation and Maintenance, with a solid understanding of Enterprise Metadata Management, MDM / Reference Data, Enterprise Data Governance, Data Quality and Business Analytics.
  • Azure, SQL, PL/SQL
  • Significant testing coordination with cross-functional teams to test their workflows in certification environment after major upgrades. Perform core server testing.
  • Vulnerability remediation, as reported by internal client SecOps tools. Certificate management.

Primary Activities
  • Server patching, upgrades, server maintenance and performance management.
  • Enabling and testing new platform features.
  • Maintain ingestion of metadata from Tableau and Databricks.
  • Ensure application availability per SLA.
  • Maintain client's legacy "Right to Know" policy for data governance.
  • User license management.

Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Previous experience in a managed services role or IT support (typically 5+ years).
  • 5+ years of Collibra experience which should include building proof of concepts, consulting clients for product alignment, implement the tool and successfully deploy data management solutions according to the business needs of the customer and industry requirements.

Application Services
  • Provide technical support for business-critical software applications, diagnosing and resolving user issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor application performance, resolve technical issues, and perform root cause analysis for recurring problems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for application-related inquiries, working with users to address their needs.

Release & Deployment
  • Participate in the testing of new or updated applications, ensuring they meet functional requirements and quality standards.
  • Assist with the release & deployment and rollout of new software versions or updates to users.
  • Ensure smooth transition and minimal disruption during application changes, including user training and documentation.
  • Perform enhancements as per requirements and ability to deploy.

Reporting & Management
  • Collect and analyze data from the applications to generate reports and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Monitor application usage and performance metrics to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Provide recommendations for improving workflows or streamlining processes through better application use.
  • Work with project managers and customers to ensure the applications meet evolving business requirements.
  • Update application and architecture documentation as needed.

Soft Skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Customer-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks preferred (e.g., ITIL).
  • Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud and Databricks.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.) and querying for data analysis.
