The LPE team is seeking a seasoned engineer with deep Azure expertise to help architect, build, and support scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on, senior-level role that blends architecture, implementation, and operational excellence—ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys mentoring others.
What You'll Do
Design and implement robust Azure-based infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Lead architecture and design discussions, driving best practices for cloud-native deployments and infrastructure automation.
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Bicep and other tooling to ensure repeatable, secure, and scalable deployments.
Optimize infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency, leveraging Azure-native tools and best practices.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams across orgs to align infrastructure with business needs.
Own the operational health of cloud environments, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response using Microsoft-aligned tools.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
What We're Looking For
Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including networking, identity, and resource management.
Strong proficiency with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration.
Robust knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tooling, especially Azure Bicep.
Proven experience optimizing cloud infrastructure for cost savings and operational efficiency.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools aligned with Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps, Azure Bicep, GitHub Actions, Terraform).
Experience with observability and monitoring tools that comply with Microsoft's software policies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong preference for candidates with:
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent.
