  • 3+ years of leadership experience as a line manager to a team of engineers
  • 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience developing backend services for B2B SaaS
  • 5+ years of operational experience delivering software using Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban) and practices (TDD, pair programming, code reviews, CI/CD automation)
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills across customer success, sales, executives, and clients

Requirements:

  • Accountable for the team performance across productivity, quality, and people metrics
  • Continuously evolve processes, techniques, and goals to improve alignment and performance in line with Beamery Engineering standards
  • Establish trust with direct reports and use coaching/mentoring to grow team members to the next level
  • Coordinate stand-ups, monitor progress toward sprint/release goals and remove blockers; collaborate with Product Manager to build and maintain the team Product Roadmap

We're looking for a talented Engineering Manager to lead a high performing autonomous delivery team ensuring knowledge and operational continuity. Your primary focus will be to ensure the team is enabled to perform at maximum velocity.



What will you do as an Engineering Manager at Beamery?

  • Accountable for the team performance captured in productivity, quality, and people related metrics.

  • Continuously evolve processes, techniques, and goals to create better alignment, higher performance, and a sense of purpose aligned with Beamery Engineering standards.

  • Establish a strong relationship of mutual trust with each of your direct reports, choose the right coaching, mentoring or leading technique to get them to their next level of growth.

  • Continuously look to raise teams’ professional level through upskilling, mentorship, coaching and hiring.

  • Coordinate the teams stand-up, assess the team progress towards the sprint & release goals and remove potential blockers.

  • Work closely with the team Product Manager to build and maintain the team's Product Roadmap.

  • A concise and clear communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally between customer success, sales, executives, and clients

  • 3+ years of leadership skills as a line manager to a team of engineers

  • 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience developing backend services for B2B SaaS

  • 5+ years of operational experience of software delivery using Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban) and practices (TDD/pair programming/code reviews/CICD automation etc.)

  • Extensive experience improving team processes and efficiency, enabling the team to deliver value at pace

  • Data-driven decision maker able to balance leadership/delegation based on teams/individual strengths

  • A collaborative and supportive management style to encourage a culture of continuous improvement across processes, code, and team cohesion

  • A leader that sets goals and objectives and offers advice, setting your team up for success

  • A natural recruiter, passionate about building your team

  • Ability to convert ambiguously defined problems into well-understood requirements and isolating root causes across the entire stack
