Own the documentation, accuracy, and localisation workflow for iGaming slot titles.

Remote (South Africa) | iGaming | R45,000 – R70,000 per month | UK Hours

About Our Client

Our client is a remote-first games company focused on the development of high-quality, regulated iGaming slot content. They offer a structured, process-driven environment with a strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and team collaboration across global markets.

The Role: iGaming Localisation & Documentation Coordinator

This role is responsible for maintaining all localisation assets and written documentation for slot games, including GDDs, help files, and in-game text. Youll coordinate localisation with external partners, ensure documentation is up to date across multiple languages and game versions, and work closely with internal teams to align text and documentation with implemented features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical writing, documentation, or localisation coordination
  • Maintain and update game design documents and supporting documentation
  • Manage all provided English in-game text and prepare it for localisation
  • Create and maintain HTML-based game help files
  • Track and implement text updates throughout development and post-launch
  • Coordinate with external translators to manage localisation processes
  • Review translated content for completeness, formatting, and technical accuracy
  • Collaborate with game designers, producers, QA, and developers to ensure alignment

About You

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer, Documentation Specialist, or similar role
  • Excellent written English with a focus on clarity, structure, and precision
  • Familiarity with HTML and web-based formatting
  • Experience working with localisation workflows and managing translation partners
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and frequent text iterations
  • iGaming experience is essential (slots, casino, or regulated games)
  • Desirable: Experience with game development pipelines, string file management, or version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce)
  • Only candidates with iGaming experience will be considered. Remote applicants are welcome, preferably based in South Africa. UK working hours apply.
