What you will do:

As a Cloud Application Solution Architect in Athens, you help drive digital transformation at NN Hellas by creating reliable, secure and accessible cloud solutions that improve insurance services for millions of NN’s customers across Greece. So doing, you contribute to future-proof technology that helps people when it matters most. You design and guide end-to-end cloud solutions that enable NN Hellas’ digital transformation. In this role, you translate business needs into scalable and secure architectures, balancing innovation with stability. Your work directly supports better customer journeys, stronger platforms and long-term business goals. You combine hands-on technical expertise with architectural oversight, ensuring solutions are robust, well-documented and aligned with NN Group’s strategy.

Your day-to-day:

• Design end-to-end cloud application solutions on Azure, from requirements through to implementation.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into clear architectural designs and technical specifications.
• Make and document architecture and design decisions, including integration patterns and third-party components.
• Guide development teams by reviewing designs, setting standards and supporting DevOps practices.
• Improve platform performance, resilience and security while addressing technical debt and future needs.

Who you are:

You combine technical expertise with clear communication and a structured way of working. In addition, you thrive in complex environments, collaborate effectively with others and translate technical decisions into solutions that support business goals. You also have:

• Experience writing and reviewing production code and guiding development standards within a team.
• The ability to make architecture and design decisions using patterns, integrations and third-party components in cloud-based environments such as Azure.
• Experience designing, documenting and evolving application architectures, including infrastructure and configuration changes.
• An understanding of business models and the ability to translate requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions.
• The ability to work effectively in Agile teams, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
