  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance review cycles, preparing high-quality management reports, dashboards, and commentary.
  • Assist with forecast updates, budget cycles, and long-term financial planning models.

What you will do:

The Financial Performance Specialist supports NN Hellas in monitoring, analysing, and optimizing business performance by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial and operational reporting. The role acts as a financial business partner collaborating with various stakeholders, enabling datadriven decisionmaking through performance analysis, regulatory reporting, and market insights. You will report to the Business Performance & Analytics Team Head.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a finance business partner to other business areas to assess performance relative to targets/budget and provide financial support and guidance as needed
  • Monitor and analyze financial and non-financial performance across Life & Health portfolios, identifying trends, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance review cycles, preparing high‑quality management reports, dashboards, and commentary.
  • Evaluate key business drivers (premiums, claims, reserves, expenses, persistency, new business value, etc.) and translate insights into clear recommendations for decision‑makers.
  • Assist with forecast updates, budget cycles, and long‑term financial planning models
  • Maintain, support and enhance the annual cash flow planning process in close collaboration with Actuarial team
  • Support / perform regulatory and external reporting to BoG and HAIC
  • Monitoring, analysis and reporting of market competition
  • Participate in regulatory, transformation or group-driven projects

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Accounting / Finance / Audit / Big 4
  • Professional experience in Insurance sector is a strong plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or MSc in Business Administration / Finance / Accounting / Economics
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables), MS Word, Outlook)
  • Prior experience with Power BI would be considered an asset
  • Holding or studying towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CMA) is a plus
  • Excellent oral and written knowledge of Greek and English language
  • Oracle Hyperion suite hands-on experience (Essbase and SmartView) would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of insurance KPIs and familiarity with Solvency II concepts would be considered a plus
