Job Opportunity: Senior Data & AI Engineer (Remote LATAM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data & AI Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data systems, ML infrastructure, and backend services particularly within the healthcare interoperability domain (FHIR).
The ideal candidate has strong cloud expertise, data engineering depth, and solid AI/ML Ops experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines (batch & real-time).

  • Build APIs and backend integrations using Python and Java.

  • Manage orchestration workflows (Airflow or similar).

  • Deploy, monitor, and optimize AI/ML models (ML Ops best practices).

  • Administer cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Integrate multiple data sources, including FHIR-based healthcare data.

  • Build CI/CD pipelines; manage Docker & Kubernetes deployments.

  • Apply best practices in data modeling, DBT, and data governance.

  • Ensure compliance, security, documentation, and system reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or 10+ years equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years Python and Java development.

  • 2+ years delivering software projects.

  • 1+ year client-facing or service-based role.

  • Proven experience with:

    • ETL/ELT

    • Big data infrastructure

    • AI/ML workflows

    • Cloud technologies

  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, and data warehouse design.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with FHIR or healthcare interoperability.

  • Experience in highly regulated industries.

If you're a Senior Candidate (Salary ~$100K$120K/year):

  • Month 1: $2,500

  • Month 2: $2,500

  • Month 3: $2,500

  • Month 4: $2,500

If you're Junior or Mid-Level (Salary ~$60K$70K/year):

  • Month 1: $1,500

  • Month 2: $1,500

  • Month 3: $1,500

  • Month 4: $1,500

After completing these installments, you simply enjoy your new, higher salary.

Approval Timeline & Program Duration

  • Approval decisions may take up to 1 week.

  • Once approved, we aim to find your first opportunity within 1 additional week.

  • Due to high demand, only 10 candidates are accepted per month.

  • If not selected, you can re-apply in future cycles.

  • If disqualified, you may apply again after 2 years, along with detailed feedback to help you improve or sign the VIP Service agreement for 15% of the first annual salary.
