Roles & Responsibilities

  • At least 1 year of interior design experience with a portfolio of US or Western interior design work.
  • Familiarity with design platforms Havenly and SketchUp; basic understanding of 3DS Max.
  • In-depth knowledge of furniture systems and finishes and solid space-planning principles.
  • Creative, collaborative, detail-oriented, with excellent time-management skills and ability to develop and present design concepts; ability to work on US Pacific Time.

Requirements:

  • Design interiors using UMA Home Décor products to create lifestyle/3D visualizations.
  • Choose appropriate room scenes and props for lifestyle images to elevate aesthetics and realism.
  • Report to the Director of Content and Creatives and collaborate with the Creative Director and Video Editor.
  • Work with the Coohom platform to generate multiple lifelike 3D visualizations for the American market.

Job description

Our client is a home decor company with an extensive presence online. They have multiple brands that they sell by, and are looking to create multiple lifestyles/3D Visualizations for each item in our line, for the American market. 

They are working with a third-party 3D modeling company, Coohom, which has a platform that allows us to make unlimited 3D visualizations (Lifestyles) of the products in residential spaces. They have over 10,000 pre-created rooms we can choose from, but they are looking for someone who can elevate our look aesthetically, and also make it look more lifelike. 

Our products are a vast assortment of accent furniture like side chairs and tables, wall decor, sculptures, vases, outdoor furniture, and yard decor. They will provide the models, the platform to use, and guidance.  You need to provide your interior design knowledge.

  • Must have interior design experience. Does not need to know 3DS Max, but a basic understanding is needed.  
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in interior design is required for this position.
  • Understanding of the American or Western design aesthetic.
  • Portofilio of US or Western interior design work is a MUST. 
  • Familiar with design platforms like Havenly and Sketch Up 
  • In-depth knowledge of furniture systems and finishes 
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic principles of space planning 
  • Interest in changing trends in design
