Requirements:

  • Business Video Production: Edit high-quality business content for leadership and thought leadership pieces; maintain consistent color grading, sound quality, and visual standards; add overlays, text treatments, and storytelling elements
  • Platform-Specific Optimization: Format content for both vertical and horizontal delivery; use best practices for YouTube, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and paid placements; create strong thumbnails, titles, and descriptions; upload and optimize videos directly on YouTube and LinkedIn when needed

About the Role

We are hiring a full-time Video Editor for our Strategic Growth Team. This role focuses on turning raw footage into polished, high-performing, scroll-stopping video that elevates our brand, enhances our thought leadership, and strengthens our communication across platforms.

You will work on long-form podcast-style edits, short-form vertical cutdowns, and high-quality business content. This is a hands-on role for someone who is fast, creative, and deeply familiar with what performs well on LinkedIn, YouTube, and YouTube Shorts, especially in a B2B or thought leadership environment.

Experience preparing videos for LinkedIn Ads or YouTube Ads is a strong advantage. Experience posting, optimizing, and writing engaging titles and descriptions for LinkedIn and YouTube is also highly valuable.

Key Responsibilities

Podcast and Long-Form Editing

  • Edit long-form interviews, conversations, and podcast episodes

  • Clean audio, improve pacing, and apply branded graphics

  • Identify strong short-form moments for repurposing

Short-Form Vertical Cutdowns

  • Produce 1590-second clips for YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn

  • Craft sharp hooks, fast pacing, and attention-grabbing opening frames

  • Add subtitles, jump cuts, and motion graphics

  • Apply current creator-style editing while maintaining a polished brand feel

Business Video Production

  • Edit high-quality business content for leadership and thought leadership pieces

  • Maintain consistent color grading, sound quality, and visual standards

  • Add overlays, text treatments, and storytelling elements

Platform-Specific Optimization

  • Format content for both vertical and horizontal delivery

  • Use best practices for YouTube, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and paid placements

  • Create strong thumbnails, titles, and descriptions that improve click-through and watch time

  • Upload and optimize videos directly on YouTube and LinkedIn when needed

Advertising-Ready Video Prep (Strong Plus)

  • Format and export videos for LinkedIn Ads and YouTube Ads

  • Follow platform specs and creative guidelines

  • Support performance-driven creative testing

Workflow and Collaboration

  • Manage fast-paced turnaround times

  • Keep project files organized with clear naming and versioning practices

  • Suggest new creative styles, formats, or improvements

  • Collaborate closely with the Strategic Growth Team and leadership

What We Are Looking For

  • A video editor who can make business content engaging, sharp, and modern

  • Strong familiarity with top business creators (e.g., Alex Hormozi, Chris Do, Codie Sanchez, Sam Parr, Sahil Bloom)

  • Ability to elevate unpolished footage into polished content

  • Fast execution with reliable storytelling instincts

  • Clear communication and consistent follow-through

  • Confidence working independently in a deadline-driven environment

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of video editing experience, ideally in business, B2B, or creator content

  • Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

  • A portfolio that shows:

    • Podcast or long-form interview editing

    • Short-form vertical cutdowns

    • Polished business-style videos

    • Motion graphics, subtitles, overlays, or animated elements

  • Experience posting to YouTube or LinkedIn (titles, descriptions, thumbnails)

  • Familiarity with LinkedIn or YouTube Ads (major plus)

  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work

Work Requirements

  • 100 percent remote work-from-home

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time

  • Must have:

    • Personal computer and dual monitors

    • Quiet, professional workspace

    • Reliable high-speed internet

    • Backup power supply if applicable
