Ensure compliance with US GAAP, prepare and file vendor 1099s, and collaborate with tax professionals on Avalara sales tax compliance; manage bi-weekly payroll processing.
Monitor and reconcile e-commerce payment platforms (PayPal, Stripe); oversee inventory management and provide financial insights on stock levels and valuation; generate and analyze leadership reports (profitability, cash flow, and operational metrics).

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented General Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting and support the financial integrity of our growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Accounting:

Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
Perform month-end closings, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Manage bank feeds and ensure timely bank account reconciliations.

Systems Management:

Utilize and maintain NetSuite for financial operations and reporting.
Operate Bill.com for AP management and payment processing.

Compliance and Reporting:

Prepare and file 1099s for applicable vendors.
Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards.
Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure accurate Avalara usage for sales tax compliance.

Payroll Administration:

Manage bi-weekly payroll processing.

E-commerce Financial Operations:

Monitor and reconcile payment platforms such as PayPal and Stripe.
Oversee inventory management and provide financial insights on stock levels and valuation.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Generate and analyze financial reports for leadership, including profitability, cash flow, and operational metrics.

Qualifications
