Roles & Responsibilities

  • Proficient in Java/J2EE 8+ with strong Spring Framework experience (Spring MVC, IOC, AOP, Spring JDBC) and solid OOP principles
  • Proven ability to design and build large-scale distributed systems and microservices with strong system design and problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams (Frontend/Backend, QA, DevOps) and optimizing resource/time management; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs (REST/RESTful, SOAP/JAX-WS), SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Influx), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift); familiarity with Linux and build tools (Gradle/Maven/SBT)

Requirements:

  • Lead a cross-functional team of frontend/backend, QA and DevOps engineers to deliver Java microservices and related software
  • Design, architect, and optimize large-scale distributed systems; manage resources and timelines effectively
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices; ensure code quality through unit and integration tests
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement best practices, CI/CD, and containerization using Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift

Job Description
·         Strong technical, problem analyzing and solving skills
·         Strong system design/development experience in building large-scale distributed systems and products.
·         Should have ability to lead team of frontend/backend , QA and DevOps engineers
·         Should be able to optimize & effectively manage resources and time of the team members
·         Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams and business.
·         Proficient in Java/ J2EE 8 or higher version
·         Strong experience in Spring Framework such as Spring MVC, IOC, AOP and Spring JDBC.
·         Strong knowledge on Object Oriented Programming Principles
·         Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, concurrent programming.
·         Experience in developing REST API's, RESTful Web Services, SOAP, JAX-WS, XML
·         Strong experience in Micro services
·         Experience in Web fundamentals like HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS, JSP, Servlets
·         Demonstrates keen interest in the quality of product by writing unit tests and integration tests.
·         Experience with SQL/No-SQL database technologies - MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo dB, Cassandra, Influx etc.
·         Good knowledge on Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift
·         Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
·         Experience in build tools Gradle/Maven/Sbt.
·         Knowledge of log monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace
