About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer with strong Civil 3D expertise to join our clients team on major infrastructure projects. This role is only suitable for a candidate with proven senior experience in civil engineering design, BIM coordination, and clash detection who can contribute technical excellence and deliverables on complex multidisciplinary projects. It is essential that you have strong Civil 3d experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering packages using Civil 3D. Develop and manage BIM models, including setup and level management. Undertake services modelling and clash detection, ensuring technical accuracy and resolving conflicts. Support the preparation of drawings, calculations, and technical reports. Collaborate closely with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to deliver coordinated solutions. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight. Ensure compliance with UK design standards, planning requirements, and project specifications.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
Has to have plenty of civil knowledge as a senior
With extensive hands-on 3D Design, Civil 3D Design that falls under Autodesk experience and uses the package
Proven track record in BIM modelling, including setup and management of levels.
Hands-on experience with services modelling and clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks).
Senior level background, ideally Chartered (CEng/IEng) or near-chartered.
