Job description

Role:
  • Will be responsible for New product Development & Delivery of SMART Products (Wearables / Hearables)
  • To manage new product development from concepts to production especially for smart wearables/hearables with right design, quality, schedule and cost
  • To plan and set project timelines based on the SOP and delivering on time without any hurdles.
  • To create / Track material master and bill of material on SAP
  • To Track and monitor NPD production status for on time delivery.
  • To coordinate with Tech team, ISCM to establish assembly / Testing process for smooth conversion & deposition of wearables / Hearables.
  • Networking & evaluating & establishing suppliers for smart segment (smart watches, hearables, smart speakers).
  • To propose viable solutions, cost and technical feasibility on designs, materials selection, functions and manufacturing methods based on the product requirements
  • To collaborate with different development partners across different regions/Countries
  • To perform defect analysis, troubleshooting, corrective and preventive actions with development partners for continuous improvement on products in production
Responsibilities:
  • On-time delivery of New products
  • Availability of product master and spec sheets, Quality plan, assembly process, smart standards, ensuring availability of right documents for Pre dispatch Inspection.
  • Error-free BOM and Material master as per timeline to ensure planned order loading.
  • Coordinate for sample development, inspection, testing and providing feedback on product quality at various stages.
Requirement:
  • Graduate in Electronics / Electronics Communication engineering with 6 - 8 years of Experience in the SMART Product Industry (Electronic Gadgets / Mobile Phones / Wearables)
  • Exposure to working principle of smart elements & functions viz. PCB, Display, firmware, App, etc.
  • Process knowledge on smart wearables/Hearables and various development steps.
  • Good understanding of the end-to-end manufacturing process of electronics goods and EMS industry
  • Process orientation, exposure to tools used for process control and life cycle management ( PLM tools )
  • Good understanding of DFM, DFT techniques, and quality requirements for products.
  • Exposure to various test stages, test jigs, and methods to optimize the yield of manufacturing right at the design phase
  • Knowledge in MS Office and Project / Program management
  • Basic awareness on Auto CAD / Pro-e and knowledge on engineering design.
  • Product development process knowledge
  • Capability to understand/ apply GD&T and Tolerance Stack-up analysis
  • Knowledge on material testing.
  • Good Communication & understanding Skills
  • Exposure in troubleshooting.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good team player
  • Should have high perseverance.
  • Self-motivated with Good inter-personnel skills.
  • Exposure to SAP.
  • Knowledge of Engineering Materials
