Job Title:
Linguistic QA Specialist – Thailand (English to Thai)
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct subtitle reviews for client content, English to Thai
Ensure accuracy of objective errors: grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, fluency, and intent is conveyed through subtitles
Escalate any issues with the subtitle quality and collaborate with the production team to resolve issues in timely manner
Seek to understand and correct any language uncertainty
Ensure that the subtitle quality align with the expectations and standards of the company and clients
Participate in internal training, as well as external training if required, to keep up with industry standards and company processes
What you bring:
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill set:
Extensive experience working in translation and experience subtitling
Outstanding Thai and English language skills, both written and oral
Must be organized, diligent, and detail-oriented
Can apply good judgement and research when faced with ambiguous situations
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines
Strong collaboration skills to ensure success across the team
Ability to work independently while effectively communicating when required
Possess cultural awareness to be able to address culturally sensitive matters and to raise concerns when faced with potentially sensitive issues
