Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP/IFRS).
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal adjustments, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions and liaise with external tax advisers.
• Manage tax compliance and reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submission of tax returns.
• Develop, document, and implement efficient financial workflows and procedures.
• Introduce strategies to enhance reporting accuracy and optimise resource allocation.
• Partner with IT and finance teams to deliver system upgrades and process integrations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial operations with broader business objectives.
• Supervise general ledger management, ensuring precise reconciliations and the integrity of financial records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in financial accounting and reporting, including at least two years in a senior or equivalent role.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, local accounting standards, and tax regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in both spoken and written Mandarin and English.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
