Finance Executive (Trade finance duties)

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of banking documentation for letter of credit (LC) and collection bills, security bonds and banker’s guarantee (BG)
• Process export/collection bills to be presented to banks for negotiation either by visiting or through electronic means
• Follow up on export/collection bills discrepancies, acceptance payment and any disputes
• Processing of import bills and its settlements and liaise with banks for LC rates
• Perform administrative tasks such as answering calls, organization of documents and general office management
• Assist the finance team in ad-hoc task when required
• Coordinate with colleagues from India, Indonesia & Dubai offices
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• No minimum educational qualification requirement
• Possess at least 3 years of experience and understanding of Letter of Credit from local financial institutions
• Understands basic accounting workflow such as invoicing and billing
• Proficient in MS Office – including Words, Excel, PowerPoint or similar
• Good interpersonal skills and communication

• Salary budget of $3-4k
• Located near Raffles Place MRT
