General Accountant (CPA)

A Hong Kong-based accounting firm is looking for a qualified CPA General Accountant to join their team and support a portfolio of clients remotely.

This is a great opportunity for someone who's meticulous, organised, and experienced in full-set accounting especially within an audit or outsourced finance environment.

Location: Philippines

Work Setup: Fully remote, contractor basis

Start Date: ASAP

What you'll do:

• Handle full set of accounts for assigned Hong Kong-based client entities
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, management reports, and audit schedules
• Perform day-to-day accounting operations: AR, AP, bank reconciliations, general ledger
• Manage month-end and year-end closings for multiple clients
• Liaise directly with clients and auditors
• Assist in tax computations, annual returns, and regulatory filings
• Support audit engagements with working papers and financial data
• Maintain clean and organised accounting records
• Contribute to process improvements and uphold high client service standards

What we're looking for:

• CPA qualification is a must
• 3+ years handling full set of accounts
• 2+ years external audit experience (Big 4 or mid-tier firms a plus)
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Experience working with international or outsourced clients preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and remotely
