Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Officer to join our clients expanding finance operations. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a tech-enabled environment and is confident in managing a full set of financial statements independently. The role will involve close collaboration with an established accounting team based in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently prepare a full set of financial statements along with supporting schedules.
• Deliver high-quality accounting services to clients across multiple sectors.
• Collaborate closely and provide end-to-end support to the Hong Kong accounting team.
• Contribute to ad-hoc assignments and internal process improvements.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• A degree in Accounting or a related discipline is required.
• At least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using Xero is essential.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks and MYOB is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Comfortable working with cloud-based accounting software and open to new technologies in finance automation.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Self-driven, organized, and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Language

• Good command of written and spoken English is required.

Availability

• Immediate availability or ability to start on short notice is highly preferred.
