Legal & Compliance Lead

We are looking for a Legal & Compliance Lead who is eager to tackle challenges at the forefront of the legal and tech industries, to help our team and grow the business. As part of Team, you will be responsible for supporting professionals to help us organize and complete all of the legal parts. You will be working with a close-knit team of talented professionals, supporting company goals.

Position Legal & Compliance Lead ( 100K up) Thai only

Responsibilities

• Providing counsel and assistance to departments on any legal-related matters.
• Advise and coordinating with Management for consultation and strategic direction with compliance, risk, audit, and compliance relating to contractual, legal, regulatory obligation, and privacy compliance.
• Collaborating with Management to educate internals on compliance, legal, and data protection requirements.
• Managing and oversee the Company commercial contracting purposes, including contract forms and legal contracts repository.
• Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
• Liaise with other team to ensure that all business operations are in line with business policies

• Broad knowledge, handle all legal & compliance related items in-house

• While knowledge across legal aspects in broad, expertise within the retail/e-commerce and payments is necessary

• Experience working with the Bank of Thailand

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law.
• Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in Law.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a Lead position.
• Proficient in English
• Able to communicate legal subject matters in a simple and understandable way.
• Proven experience as compliance lead
• In-depth knowledge of the industry standards and regulations
• An analytical mind able to see the complexities of procedures and regulations
