About this Position:
As a Django Back-end Team Lead with our client, you will hold a key role in spearheading a team of developers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and robust back-end solutions. Your Django expertise and leadership abilities will be instrumental in attaining our project objectives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead a team of back-end developers, offering guidance and mentorship.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, encompassing front-end developers, designers, and product managers, to produce comprehensive web applications.
- Architect and implement secure and scalable back-end systems using Django and associated technologies.
- Construct and manage RESTful APIs for various projects.
- Compose efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Conduct code reviews to uphold quality and adhere to best practices.
Swiftly troubleshoot and resolve back-end issues.
- Stay current with the latest developments and best practices within the Django ecosystem.
- Effectively manage project timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 4-5 years of professional experience in Django web development.
- Exceptional proficiency in Python and Django.
- Proven experience in leading and overseeing a team of developers.
- Adept in database design and management, particularly with PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Solid grasp of software development best practices and design patterns.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
- Outstanding problem-solving and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in an agile development environment.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality code.
- A strong passion for staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like GCP and/or AWS.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Previous involvement in e-commerce or SaaS platform development.
Understanding of network and security principles.
