Job description

Hiring Position: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Working Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Working Condition: 90 -100% Remote

Pay Rate: UP TO THB 350K

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Our client is in search of an innovative Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead their technology strategy and enhance their data capabilities. The ideal candidate should possess a robust background in software architecture, infrastructure, and data management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Technology:

- Develop and execute a forward-thinking technology strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring a distinct competitive advantage.
- Seamlessly integrate technology initiatives with overarching business strategies to propel our client's rate of expansion.
- Supervise the development of a robust technical architecture designed for scalability, ensuring systems can effortlessly expand to meet growing demands.
- Cultivate a culture of technical innovation that surpasses industry norms.

Data Management:

- Oversee the entire data lifecycle, from acquisition to storage and analysis.
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with external data providers, leveraging external data sources to enhance analytics capabilities.
- Stay abreast of emerging data technologies, recommending and implementing solutions to keep our client's data infrastructure cutting-edge.

Inspiring Team:

- Lead and inspire a team of tech experts, fostering a culture of creativity and high performance.
- Encourage a continuous improvement mindset, allowing team members the freedom to develop their skills and contribute to our client's success.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technology and product strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather insights and feedback, incorporating them into product and technology roadmaps.

Qualifications:

- Over 15 years of technical experience, with a focus on platform and enterprise-class application development, implementation, and support.
- Proven ability to use metrics to streamline the software development process and accurately predict resource requirements for software projects.
- Knowledge of and experience applying agile development methodologies.
Prior experience in creating web-based big data technologies and software for expansive API platforms is essential.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
