Job description

Our client, a prominent Civil Defense Litigation law firm, is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney - 3rd Party BI/Coverage for a fully remote position. This role focuses on managing complex 3rd-party insurance coverage cases, including Declaratory Judgment Actions involving Commercial Trucking Accidents, Private-Passenger Motor Vehicle Accidents, and Construction Defect Litigation. Additional responsibilities include handling 3rd-party insurance defense matters such as Auto Negligence, Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist claims, Bad Faith, Personal Injury, and Commercial General Liability cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and review coverage opinion letters, coverage denial letters, reservation of rights letters, and insurance disclosure letters.
Manage cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
Conduct depositions and attend hearings.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of experience with 3rd-party Insurance Coverage Litigation.
Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
Experience handling Declaratory Judgment Actions and related insurance coverage matters.
