AutoCAD Designer (AC - 03192025- PTACD)

Position: AutoCAD Designer

Number of hours: 20 hours/week
Schedule: EST/PST

Tasks required:

• Produce high-quality AutoCAD drawings for hotels, restaurants, and other commercial interior layouts.

• Interpret sketches, architectural plans, and notes to develop accurate construction documents.

• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from clients, engineers, and project managers.

• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations in designs.

• Maintain consistent drawing standards, layers, and templates across projects.

• Collaborate with remote teams and attend virtual meetings during US office hours.

• Assist in space planning, furniture layouts, lighting plans, and finish details as needed.

• Organize and manage drawing files, version control, and documentation.

• Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned

Requirements:

• Proven experience in AutoCAD design, particularly in hospitality and restaurant projects.

• Experience with additional design software (Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite) is a plus.

• Background in architecture, interior design, or a related field.

• Familiarity with US building codes and ADA guidelines is a bonus.

• Solid understanding of architectural and interior design drafting standards.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.

• Excellent portfolio of previous works

• Creative talent, imagination, and eye for design

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially regarding communicating an artistic vision

• Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines

• Exhibit strong work ethic and initiative

• Clear and concise communicator with effective verbal and written communication skills

• Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently hit daily and monthly targets with limited supervision
