Latam Backend Developer

We are looking for a Backend Developer living in any Latam Country with expertise in the following areas:

1. Writing high-quality code and ensuring its delivery to production consistently.
2. Building for performance and high availability.
3. Automating data entry and reducing busywork for important customers.
4. Refactoring and organizing technical debt into efficient services.
5. Maintaining quality standards by staying up to date with best practices and conducting code reviews.
6. Developing Python microservices, lambdas, and workers using an event architecture.
7. Collaborating closely with product teams to refine ideas and implement designs.
8. Proactively identifying and fixing problems or gaps in the codebase.
9. Taking ownership of applications by fixing bugs, engaging with users, and providing regular updates.
10. Writing unit tests to ensure code reliability.

Additionally, the preferred qualifications for this role include:

1. Familiarity with Python frameworks like Django, Flask, and Fast API.
2. Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and Terraform.
3. Experience with event-driven architectures.
4. Enterprise integration development experience.
5. Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Redis.
6. Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS and GCP, including working with containerized environments.
