Job description

Our Client is an internationally accredited, multi-disciplinary and tertiary care private hospital located in the Klang Valley Region. It was recognised in 2021 for its excellence as imperatives in the digital health industry. As part of their growth plans, they are seeking to hire dedicated, and experienced Cambodian Interpreter to be part of their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the main liaison to our Cambodian patients, by assisting in all interpretation and visit coordination needs.
  • Responsible for the patients welfare, facilitates their visits, leads, or assists in organized tours for our Cambodian and Chinese speaking customers.
  • Assist in the designing and preparation of Cambodian and Mandarin materials for marketing purpose.
  • Develop and maintain good relationship with the Cambodian & Chinese speaking community.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing or in any other relevant field. Additional certificate from an accredited language school would be an advantage.
  • Fluent in speaking Cambodian and Mandarin, with ability to write and interpret accurately.
  • At least two (2) years' working experience as an interpreter.
  • Working experience in a hospital environment would be an advantage.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Ability to interact within a multidisciplinary team 

Remunerations & Benefits:

  • Min Basic Salary RM7,000 to RM8,000
  • Those with direct industry experience with higher salary bracket will be considered
