Remote Cape Town | R31 500 plus commission | UK Hours (9 am-6 pm)

The Role: Recruitment Consultant (Executive Search)

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in driving the firm's candidate and client pipeline, supporting senior consultants in delivering executive searches for leading global financial institutions. This role requires strong communication, research, and organisational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fully remote and fast-paced international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound candidate enquiries, assess motivations, and present profiles to the consulting team.
  • Source and screen candidates for active mandates via databases and LinkedIn.
  • Conduct candidate interviews to evaluate suitability for executive searches.
  • Prepare candidate overviews, shortlist packs, and maintain accurate records in the database.
  • Generate new candidates, leads, and market intelligence through candidate engagement.
  • Conduct market mapping and build pools of Investment Banking candidates globally.
  • Research and map new client contacts across Europe and North America.
  • Draft targeted outreach communications for potential new client relationships.
  • Grow and maintain updated client and candidate networks within the database.

About You

  • Minimum 18 months of recruitment experience.
  • Prior exposure to Investment Banking and Private Equity recruitment preferred; experience in Professional Services (Finance, Legal, Consulting, Insurance) will also be considered.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with recruitment databases, LinkedIn, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
