Job description:
client that is looking for a Business Analyst that has prior experience working on helping stakeholders get Tableau reports based on Epic Data. This role is a 6 month contract, excellent communication is a must. The details below outline the project and the exact responsibilities of this person and ideally what we want them to have experience with. They do not need to be technical with Tableau, this is a BA that will Liaison between the developers and the stakeholders.
Project: Executive Daily Metrics data repository that needs to be drilled into visualizations using Tableau. Need visualizations to be done for individual lines of business domains that need to be built out using a template/model. The developers will work with this BA to get the requirements and criteria that the stakeholders want in the reports and work with the BA to ensure they meet the requirements. The BA will provide finished result to the stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Some slight project management skills such as with Project planning and validation.
- Intake with stakeholders to get exact data needed from developers to pull from the source/data warehouse. Must get exact criteria data needs to have for the need/dashboard to be created. Work with the developers to get this data into the template/model to be presented to the stakeholders.
- What are the KPIs needed, what do these KPIs mean, must know hospital lingo, epic lingo. Must be able to communicate with a hospital/clinical stakeholders and communicating that to the developer in a way they will understand. Must be Agile experienced and help drive timelines. Liaison between and the Tableau Developers and Stakeholders.
- Tableau user experience, must be able to say this is what the stakeholder will understand and use. They aren't expected to do technical responsibilities with Tableau, no development.
Epic Data is a lot of things, look out for terminology such as Ambulatory, Stork, Willow, Beaker, Op Time, Inpatient, Radiant, Caboodle, Home Health, etc.
BA will be coming from a hospital/clinical background.
