Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule

  • 40 hours/week Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm Pacific Time (1 hour unpaid break)
Client timezone: Pacific Time

Responsibilities

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Conduct keyword research to identify relevant, high-traffic, low-competition keywords for blog and video content

  • Optimize blog posts, video descriptions, and social posts according to SEO best practices

  • Collaborate on the development of content calendars with SEO in mind

  • Track and report on keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other SEO KPIs

  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify SEO opportunities

2. Social Media Content Management & Automation

  • Create, schedule, and publish text, image, and video content across Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok

  • Use social media management and automation tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Later) to plan and automate posting schedules

  • Engage with audiences through comments, messages, and trending topics to boost reach and engagement

  • Repurpose content across platforms while maintaining native formatting and best practices

  • Monitor platform analytics and adjust strategies to improve performance

3. YouTube Podcast and Ad Campaign Management

  • Manage uploading, publishing, and optimization of YouTube podcast episodes, including titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails

  • Ensure consistent branding and formatting of all video content

  • Edit and prepare video/audio files as needed (basic editing skills required)

  • Optimize the YouTube channel for growth using playlists, cards, end screens, and SEO strategies

  • Plan, set up, and monitor YouTube Ads campaigns, including:

    • Target audience definition

    • Budget management

    • Campaign optimization

    • Performance reporting

  • Analyze channel and video performance metrics to inform content strategy



Requirements


  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing

  • Strong SEO skills, including keyword research, content optimization, and familiarity with tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ahrefs

  • Proven ability to manage and automate posts on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok

  • Knowledge of current social media trends and content formats (e.g., Reels, Stories, TikTok videos)

  • Experience with video content creation and editing using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere

  • Demonstrated experience managing YouTube channels, including podcast episode uploads, SEO optimization, and playlist organization

  • Familiarity with YouTube Ads, including audience targeting, budget management, and campaign optimization

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Highly organized with strong time management skills

Preferred/Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools

  • Graphic design experience (e.g., Canva, Photoshop)

  • Experience with additional platforms such as LinkedIn or Facebook

  • Background in podcast production/editing

  • Knowledge of email marketing tools and CRM systems
