Roles & Responsibilities

  • BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science or Electronics.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant driver development experience.
  • Strong programming skills in C and Linux.
  • Hands-on experience with device driver development and debugging.

Requirements:

  • Design, develop, and test device drivers for ARM SoC.
  • Bring up and validate driver features on new ARM hardware.
  • Optimize drivers for performance and fix bugs during verification and customer support.
  • Document development processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job description

Design, develop and unit testing of Embedded OS device driver / Linux device drivers
Education
  • BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science or in Electronics preferred with proven success in a challenging academic program.
Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, unit test and documentation of the device driver for ARM SoC.
  • Bring up the driver and unit test the driver features in the new ARM SOC.
  • Optimize the driver for maximum performance.
  • Bug analysis/fixing of the issues during product verification stage and customer reported issues.
Skills/Experience
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in developing driver development with a record of strong individual technical achievement
  • Strong programming skills in C and Linux experience.
  • Device driver or board support package (BSP) knowledge or development experience.
  • Must have hands on experience in developing the device drivers.
  • Experience in development of RDK-B and Yocto build framework.
  • Must have hands on experience in solving complex system issues with good problem-solving skills and debugging skills using Hardware debuggers.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills, debugging skills for system as well as subsystem level issues
  • Should be able to work in aggressive, high pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
