  • At least 6 years of experience with SAP PI Dual stack or split stack ABAP and Java.
  • Experience supporting SAP Netweaver 7.5, including ABAP and Java components.
  • Knowledge of Hana and Maxdb databases, Linux administration, and strong communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot SAP systems used by Haworth.
  • Support and guide the maintenance of SAP PI on Netweaver 7.5.
  • Perform DBA functions on Hana and Maxdb databases.
  • Provide on-call support for all SAP systems in a team rotation.

Job description

We are currently looking for an SAP Basis Administrator with an emphasis on managing SAP's PI Systems.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the SAP systems used by Haworth. This includes troubleshooting and corrective actions as needed
  • Support and give direction for the maintenance of SAP PI running on Netweaver 7.5 system
  • Perform DBA functions on both Hana and Maxdb databases
  • Assist users with Basis needs in SAP systems
  • Help the other basis team members as needed
  • Provide on-call support 7x24 for all SAP systems in a team rotation
  • Travel to corporate headquarters up to 2 times a year as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, computer systems engineering, or management of information systems.
Work Experience:
  • 6 years of experience maintaining SAP PI Dual stack or split stack Abap and Java.
  • Experience supporting Netweaver 7.5, both Abap and Java
  • Experience with Hana and Maxdb databases
  • Experience with Linux
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to flex schedule with US based team.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
  • Experience leading projects.
  • Ability to administrate and tune or Linux Servers.
