Roles & Responsibilities

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software development and embedded technology, preferably in WLAN, Ethernet, bridging, routing, or driver development.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ on Linux systems and a solid understanding of software architecture and real-time embedded systems.
  • Experience with networking driver development, Ethernet, and Wireless LAN drivers is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work under high pressure environments.

Requirements:

  • Develop and maintain networking drivers for Ethernet and Wireless LAN technologies.
  • Collaborate on system architecture and design for embedded networking solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in high-pressure settings.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust networking solutions.

Job description

General Summary:
  • 2+ years experience in SW Engineering life cycle.
  • Minimum 2 year of experience in SW development.
  • 2+ years experience in Embedded technology areas preferably in WLAN, Ethernet, Bridging, Routing , Network or in driver development .
  • Strong understanding SW architecture and real time embedded system design with Linux Operating System
  • Decisive and ability to quickly identify problems & make decisions to solve them.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ in Linux with expert knowledge in multiple computer science disciplines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be a go-getter and should be able to work in an aggressive, high pressure environment
  • Hands on experience in Networking driver development, Ethernet and Wireless LAN driver development preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Should be able to work in an aggressive, high pressure environment
Desirable:
  • Experience in networking (L2 switching, IP forwarding, routing, NAT, firewall etc) desired but not mandatory
  • Experience in home networking technologies and equipment (including CPEs, Wireless Access Points or Wireless LAN protocols) is a BIG plus
  • Hands on knowledge and experience on IP Networking technologies is a plus
  • Experience working with ARMs / MIPS processor
