Overview:

SOFTSWISS is hiring L3 Support Engineer to join our IT Support Department.

Purpose of the role:

You will be able to work with cuttingedge technologies in servers, networks, and cloud platforms, building robust and scalable solutions for our global business needs.

Key responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and development of hybrid server infrastructure.
  • Maintenance of active network equipment (including cloudbased communication channels), office network development.
  • Diagnostics and solution of hardware and software problems of office infrastructure, including cloudbased.
  • RnD and implementation of new services.
  • Maintenance of technical documentation in the Knowledge Base.
  • Creation, configuration and implementation of different kind of automations.
    • Also, you will be able:
      • Participation in accounting and inventory of equipment (in terms of infrastructure).
      • Diagnosis and solution of hardware and software problems of company employees.
        • Required Experience:
          1. At least 3 years of experience at companies with 100+ employees and distributed offices\\partially or fully remote , of which at least 2 years with specialized systems (Windows Server, Linux server, VMware, etc.).
          2. Expert knowledge of modern operating systems MS Windows Server. Understanding the security principles of MS Windows operating systems.
          3. Expert knowledge of MS Active Directory (backup and recovery, FSMO replication in details, group policies, collisions and debug).
          4. Basic Linux experience system management, reverse proxy management, cert management.
          5. Practical experience in implementation and industrial virtualization (VMware, HyperV, andor equivalents). P2V\\V2V migration, clustering.
          6. Network experience at least at level Mikrotik MTCRE\\Cisco CCNP:
            1. Firewall deep understanding (chains, mangle)
            2. VPN technology (SitetoSite solutions, wireguard, L2 VPN)
            3. WiFi solutions (Ubiquiti, UNMS)
              1. Experience with Cloud Services (Azure\\Google\\Hetzner).
              2. SSO Experience (Entra ID\\GW\\OKTA, OIDC\\SAML\\SCIM).
              3. Scripting languages (python\\powershell\\bash) daily routine automation, work with API of different services.
              4. Docker management and understanding containerization.
              5. Experience with CICD pipelines (Gitlab CI, Github Actions, etc). Understanding how to work with GIT.
              6. English B1+ (be able to participate in meetings with vendors tech support and sale\\presale managers). Russian B2+
                    1. Nice to have:
                      • Experience in onpremisecloud and vice versa migration.
                      • Experience with MDM systems (Intune, Kandji, ABM, etc.)
                      • Experience with Windows 365 and macOS
                      • Experience with JiraConfluence would be a plus.
                      • Knowledge of infrastructureascode practices and tools (e.g., Ansible, Kubernetes)
