Job Description

With a strong passion for cities, architecture, and urban design, the successful candidate will contribute to diverse projects at multiple scales. The ideal candidate brings expertise in urban and semiurban site design and experience in developing master plans for private, public, and institutional markets.

What you will accomplish with us

  • Conduct potential studies and specialized urban development studies;
  • Design and develop preliminary project documents (analysis and design);
  • Prepare master plans and comprehensive development plans;
  • Participate in urban integration studies (architecture and infrastructure);
  • Design and model conceptual site development solutions for various projects (transportation, real estate, landscape, etc.);
  • Develop and illustrate substantiated narrative and conceptual frameworks at the urban project scale;
  • Ensure the production of technical documents and summary reports;
  • Analyze development statistics for project implementation;
  • Participate as needed in the preparation of construction and development cost estimates;
  • Lead or participate in meetings and draft minutes as required;
  • Participate in project development during design development phases;
  • Coordinate work with engineers, urban planners, landscape architects, transportation specialists, etc.
    • Qualifications
      • University degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Environmental Design or Architecture;
      • Graduate degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning or in a field complementary to your undergraduate studies, an asset;
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in urban design;
      • Strong creativity and demonstrated innovation capacity across a range of awardwinning projects (portfolio required);
      • Highquality graphic expression in drawings, renderings and reports (portfolio required);
      • Proficiency in AutoCAD software;
      • Advanced knowledge of Office and Adobe Suites (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop);
      • Proficiency in 3D modelling and data visualization software;
      • Advanced knowledge of Rhino modeling software (or equivalent);
      • Knowledge of ArcGIS and GIS software, an asset;
      • Knowledge of AIassisted urban analysis and mapping tools, an asset;
      • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously under tight deadlines;
      • Strong ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team;
      • Bilingualism is required (French and English).
