Job description

Description

Are you the kind of person who thrives on variety, loves supporting others, and is always ready to jump in where you're needed most?

Clearwave Fiber is growing—and we’re searching for a driven Operational Support Specialist who’s ready to make a real impact across multiple teams. In this dynamic role, you’ll support high-priority processing tasks, assist during peak volumes, and step in to cover critical functions when coverage is tight. From account corrections to customer interactions to system clean-up, no two days will ever be the same.

If you’re sharp, adaptable, and ready to be the go-to problem solver in a fast-paced environment—this is your moment. Be the backbone of the operation and help drive excellence from behind the scenes.

About the Role:

A highly adaptable and detail-oriented Operational Support Specialist serves as a versatile resource supporting critical functions across Financial Services, Operational Audits, and Customer Support. This hybrid role ensures continuity of service and operational efficiency by providing coverage during periods of high volume, employee PTO, or staffing shortages.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, sharp attention to detail, the ability to efficiently shift between task types, and a willingness to learn and contribute across departments. This is a full-time, hourly position offering a unique opportunity to gain cross-functional experience while playing a vital role in customer and operational success.

Why You’ll Thrive Here: We know this role isn’t for everyone—and that’s okay. But if you're the kind of person who:

· Has Purpose – You take a customer-first approach and value being part of a growing team

· Takes Ownership – You’re disciplined, dependable, and thrive without micromanagement

· Shows Courage – You’re confident navigating performance-driven environments

· Is Resourceful – You adapt quickly, troubleshoot effectively, and solve problems on the fly

· Values Simplicity – You find clear, efficient ways to resolve complex issues

…then you’ll fit right in with our team.

What You’ll Do:

· Provide backup support across Collections, Operational Audits, and Customer Support teams as needed.

· Process administrative tasks including disconnection requests, referral and recapture programs, and promotional code applications.

· Manage recurring administrative workflows and assist in manual processing tasks as assigned.

· Conduct complex bill reviews and account corrections to ensure timely resolution of escalated customer issues.

· Assist with system updates and corrections as part of legacy cleanup projects.

· Support order entry and account corrections of Bulk and EMA MDU account types.

· Enter and update customer data accurately across multiple systems.

· Efficiently manage assigned workloads and meet task deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

· Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to shifting priorities and responding to leadership direction in real time to maintain optimal productivity

· Maintain a high level of confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive account information.

· Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills with both internal teams and customers.

· Project work as needed

· Keep knowledge base up to date
