Job description

This is a remote position.

Working in a small, dynamic & growing agency an opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager. As the business development manager youll be responsible for following up all leads as well as creating your own. Working in partnership with the Head of Marketing & Strategy youll feedback on the quality of leads, which lead sources are working well and what marketing collateral is required.

Youll be responsible for keeping the Zoho CRM system up to date with progress on deals and the CRM will be used to demonstrate all activity completed.

In 2022 we are actively relaunching the agency with a new twist, specialising in a particular product within defined markets to create a really targetted marketing message. We are also looking to acquire other agencies so there will be plenty of opportunities for growth for a successful & driven candidate.



KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

Self Motivated

Proven sales history within agencies

B2B sales experience at SME (25 250 employee level)

Knowledge & experience in using CRM for sales tracking & forecasting

Keen team player

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Meet with prospectsclients online, over the phone or occassionally face to face

Develop a sales pipeline

Foster and develop relationships with clients

Understand the needs of our clients and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these

Have a good understanding of the businesses services and be able to advise others about them

Create sales forecasts and present to leadership team

Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department

Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services or new ways of reaching existing markets

Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation

Generate leads and occassionally cold call prospective customers



Requirements
You will be a highly organised & team player, with strong communication skills. You will have a minimum of 5 years experience, ideally working within a an agency or similar industry. You will have strong presentation skills, be a good communicator, results orientated & self motivated.

This role will currently be remote however there may be a requirement to meet face to face 1 2 times a month, this will be in Preston, Lancashire. It is anticipated that in 2022 Motionlab will open a new office and employees will then have the option to continue working remotely or be office based, or a mix. Although the role is advertised as Remote we will require candidates to meet face to face on a monthly basis and therefore are only looking at UK applicants.

The business runs on the Zoho suite of products, so experience using Zoho products would also be beneficial, but not required.
