Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Product Officer (CPO) to lead the product development team, define the product vision, and oversee the entire product lifecycle. As a key member of our leadership team, the CPO will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our ESG software solutions and driving our company's growth.

Job Description 
  • Craft and articulate a compelling product vision that not only aligns with our company’s mission and market opportunities but also inspires internal teams and resonates with external stakeholders.
  • Define and execute a comprehensive product strategy, including short-term and long-term goals, product roadmaps, and feature prioritization.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions about product enhancements and new offerings.
  • Drive strategic prioritization by balancing customer impact, competitive differentiation, and internal efficiency to deliver sustainable and high-value product outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Chief Technology Officer to ensure the timely delivery of product features, creating a harmonious synergy between product and technology.
  • Lead, mentor, and closely collaborate with the Product Management, Product Marketing, and UI/UX teams, providing strategic guidance and operational support to ensure alignment, execution excellence, and cross-functional cohesion.
  • Shape and scale the product organization to support growth, optimizing team structure, skillsets, and resourcing to drive both near-term delivery and long-term innovation.
  • Stay deeply connected to customer needs and market dynamics by actively engaging with key clients, partnering closely with the Customer Experience team, and embedding customer insights into every stage of the product lifecycle.
  • Lead a structured product discovery process to ensure product opportunities are clearly defined, technically feasible, and aligned with business impact.
  • Foster a One Team mindset by driving cross-functional alignment and collaboration, ensuring unified execution toward company goals.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances with other companies, organizations, and industry leaders to enhance our product offerings and market reach.
  • Create a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the product organization.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales enablement materials.
  • Build and nurture strategic internal partnerships with executive leadership and key departmental heads to ensure cohesive planning, shared ownership of outcomes, and seamless communication across the organization.
  • Stay attuned to market trends and the broader ecosystem by leading ongoing technological watch efforts and cultivating strategic relationships with key industry players to inform product direction and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure the product strategy is rooted in ESG market needs, addressing the complexity of ESG data, evolving regulations, and auditability requirements while maintaining usability and clarity for end-users.
  • Own and drive core product KPIs, leading the organization with a facts-and-data mindset to ensure decisions are evidence-based, accountability is clear, and success is measured and optimized continuously.

Qualifications: 

  • Proven track record of leadership in a product management or related role, ideally within the B2B SAAS industry.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in building and leading best-in-class product management teams for an enterprise software solution. 
  • Outstanding client engagement skills, adept at not only conveying the product vision but also igniting genuine enthusiasm among clients for the future prospects of our solution.
  • Extensive experience in building ESG, sustainability, RegTech, or financial data management software products, with a deep understanding of complex data, evolving regulatory landscapes, and the need for auditability and user-centric design.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Hands-on, “roll-up your sleeves” mindset, with an inspirational personality and ability to be a driver and a change agent.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to articulate a compelling product vision.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented mindset.
