Theory of Change Specialist (EVolunteer)

As an EVolunteer, you will:

• Conduct a thorough analysis of the Akasa Foundations previous project documents.
• Facilitate participatory work sessions to define strategic objectives and expected results.
• Develop a Theory of Change document.
• Build an indicator matrix.
• Present and discuss the proposed Theory of Change with the foundation team.
• Prepare a detailed final report documenting the process and recommendations.
  

• Essential academic qualifications:

  • Professional with experience in international development, social or economic sciences, programme evaluation, or related areas.

  • Essential professional experience:

    • Previous experience in developing Theories of Change and indicator matrices for nonprofit organisations.
    • Solid knowledge of strategic planning and impact evaluation methodologies.
    • Advanced facilitation and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
      
    • Ability to analyse technical documents and translate complex information into measurable results.
    • Excellent writing and reporting skills.

      Cuso Internationals EVolunteer programme welcomes new and returning volunteers to work with our international programme partners and volunteers remotely. Some of our partners are in remote areas with an unreliable Internet connection. In addition, for some of our partners, this is their first experience working with evolunteers, so flexibility and patience are a valuable characteristic of evolunteers.

      Project Sharing Canadian Expertise for Inclusive Development and Gender Equality (SHARE)

      Cuso International will carry out the Sharing Canadian Expertise for Inclusive Development and Gender Equality (SHARE) project, with a contribution from Global Affairs Canada (GAC) for seven years (20202027). SHARE aims to improve the economic andor social wellbeing of the poorest, most marginalised and vulnerable people, particularly women and girls, in developing countries, in order to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals. In addition to increasing Canadians engagement in international development and key global issues, this project will aim to increase the performance of national partners to deliver more inclusive, innovative and environmentally sustainable development initiatives that promote gender equality, in support of the action areas of Canadas Feminist International Assistance Policy.
