    • Technical Requirements

      Qualifications:

      • Experience with benefit verification and authorization.
      • 2+ years of Medical Front Office experience.
      • Outpatient rehab office experience preferred.
      • Proficient computer and typing skills with software knowledge.
      • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
      • Excellent customer service skills with formal training.
      • Ability to handle inbound and outbound calling.
      • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
      • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in several EMR systems simultaneously.
      • Ability to deal with patients and clients in a caring, respectful, warm, and empathetic manner.
      • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance role within a medical office environment.
      • Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in difficult situations.
      • Strong collaboration, facilitation, and communication skills.
        • Key Responsibilities:

          • Answering phone calls and addressing patient questions.
          • Verifying appointments and ensuring proper patient information.
          • Checking benefits and verifying insurance policies.
