Role and Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records and files
• Analyze budgets and create expense reports
• Examine tax policies and handle tax payments and returns (US)
• Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger
• Reconcile bank statements
• Analyze transactions with internal and external stakeholders
• Conduct monthend and yearend closures
• Prepare documents for audits
• Advise clients on financial issues via email or phone
• Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
• Report to the Director and work to improve financial processes

• Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting and finance
  • Prior experience in US tax laws and regulations is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders at various levels internally and externally
  • Proactive and detailoriented individual with strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
