Responsibilities:
Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and appropriate approvals.
Ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist in monthend closing and financial reporting processes.
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and issues.
Support the implementation and maintenance of accounts payable systems and processes.
Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems.
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounts payable processes.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 57 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
