CPD Trainer 

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is the workforce development body for the Further Education and Training sector. We work in partnership with others to deliver professional learning and development for teachers, trainers, and leaders. To support and enable successful delivery of the TLPD contract and also the Leadership contract.
Your profile
We are looking for an engaging and experienced teacher or trainer to join us on a fixed term basis.  This will be responsible for delivering and developing face to face or live online CPD for the Further Education and Skills sector, including schools and sixth forms who are teaching T Levels.  This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high quality CPD for the sector and champion professionalism for FES educators. This role will focus on T Level professional development and on Leadership training. As part of the national team, you will work remotely but be required to travel regularly.
The successful candidate will have:

  1. Be educated to degree level or equivalent.
  2. Teaching or training qualification.
  3. Proven track record of working with FE providers and staff at senior and practitioner level.
  4. Extensive experience of successfully training FE practitioners and leaders
  5. Knowledge and experience of delivering learning virtually.
  6. Knowledge of and confident working in a ‘challenge and support’ approach whilst maintaining clear communication.
  7. Strong relationship development skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships with a range of key stakeholders.
  8. Applicants must demonstrate substantial experience in delivering leadership and management training, alongside a strong track record in teaching and professional development.

Starting Salary: £44,400 per annum to start, with service and performance related progression
 Contract type: Fixed-term contract until 31 July 2026
