Job description

As a Project Implementation Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a smooth and successful customer onboarding experience. You’ll collaborate closely with customers, internal teams, and crossfunctional stakeholders to lead technical migrations, streamline implementation workflows, and ensure data integrity throughout the transition process. Your work will be essential to driving customer satisfaction and enabling longterm success for each implementation.

  • Lead customer migrations from billing systems such as Chargebee, Stripe, and Maxio
  • Act as a technical advisor during onboarding—mapping schemas, addressing edge cases, and collaborating with engineering when necessary
  • Develop and maintain documentation, onboarding materials, and internal playbooks to standardize the migration process
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy when handling financial data during system transitions
  • Support customer success and account teams with technical guidance during deal implementations
  • Manage multiple client implementations at once, balancing scope, budget, and timelines
  • Quickly learn new systems and tools to support customer use cases
  • Communicate clearly and confidently in clientfacing calls and internal meetings
    • Requirements

      Musthave Skills Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree required
      • At least 5 years of experience in project implementation, customer onboarding, or a similar role in SaaS, Fintech, billing systems, or financial services
      • Proven experience working with U.S. clients or U.S.based companies
      • Deep understanding of financial data workflows, including billing migrations from one system to another
      • Experience handling large datasets, schema mapping, and data validation
      • Strong proficiency with tools such as Excel, Google Suite, Slack, and email
      • Excellent attention to detail, ownership, and accountability—especially with financial data
      • Strong clientfacing communication skills: able to join calls, explain technical concepts, and present updates
      • Experience using AI or automation tools to streamline tasks
      • Able to walk stakeholders through their work with confidence and clarity
        • Advantageous or Nice to haves:

          These are not required but will give candidates a strong edge:

          • Experience migrating customers across multiple billing platforms, not just one or two
          • Familiarity with Stripe Keys, Chargebee, Maxio, or similar billing tools
          • Exposure to APIs, webhooks, or data integration practices (no coding required, but should understand basic API flows)
          • Experience creating or maintaining product documentation or onboarding guides using tools like Notion, Confluence, or similar
          • Background in B2B SaaS, highgrowth startups, AI tools, or banksfinancial institutions
          • Ability to manage projects using tools like Jira, Linear, Trello, or Notion (project management experience is a bonus)
          • Basic knowledge of SQL or scripting (Python, etc.) is helpful but not required
          • Understanding of accounting principles or revenue recognition is a plus
