We are seeking a Senior IT Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting and optimizing software applications, including builds, upgrades, and system enhancements. The Senior IT Analyst evaluates software releases and new products, providing recommendations to optimize processes and reduce costs. This position requires in-depth business, clinical, and application knowledge, and plays a key role in workflow assessments, test plan development, and issue resolution. The Senior IT Analyst will serve as a resource for problem management, incident response, and service requests, while providing daily on-call support for application-related issues. Working within a cross-functional team, this role collaborates with end-users to ensure application integration meets business and clinical needs. The Senior IT Analyst also oversees smaller-sized projects or components of larger projects, coordinates implementation plans, and communicates effectively about software issues, requirements, upgrades, and enhancements.
As a senior-level professional, this role applies advanced knowledge typically obtained through higher education and extensive work experience. Responsibilities include managing projects and processes, working independently with limited supervision, and coaching or reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. The position regularly tackles complex problems requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
5+ years of relevant experience with a degree
7+ years of relevant experience without a degree may be accepted in lieu of education
Certification/Licensure
No specific certification or licensure requirements
Experience
5+ years of relevant IT analyst or application support experience (7+ years without a degree)
Experience evaluating, implementing, and testing software releases, upgrades, and patches
Strong background in workflow assessments and functional requirements gathering
Experience providing problem, incident, and change management support
Proven ability to manage smaller-sized projects or project components with minimal supervision
