TITLE: Senior Manager, HR Business Partner
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Senior Manager, HR Business Partner at Duck Creek Technologies is a Senior Manager-level role responsible for providing high-level strategic HR support and managing a team of HR professionals. This role involves partnering with business leaders to drive HR strategies that align with organizational goals, overseeing key HR programs, and addressing complex HR issues. The Sr. HRBP will play a critical role in enhancing employee engagement, optimizing talent management, and ensuring effective HR operations. This position includes direct management of HR staff.
Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with senior business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support and advance business objectives.
Team Management: Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing coaching, performance management, and development opportunities.
HR Program Oversight: Oversee the execution and effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, ensuring they meet the needs of the business and drive organizational success.
Employee Relations Management: Handle complex employee relations issues, providing support and resolution while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Performance Management: Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
Talent Management: Develop and execute talent management strategies, including succession planning, career development, and employee retention.
Change Management: Lead and support change management efforts, facilitating smooth transitions during organizational changes and restructuring.
HR Analytics and Reporting: Analyze HR metrics and data to provide insights, measure program effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and internal policies, managing compliance issues and risk mitigation.
Organizational Development: Support organizational development initiatives, including leadership development programs and culture-building activities.
Policy and Procedure Management: Review, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure they are effective and compliant with regulations.

REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, including significant experience in a senior HR business partner role. Experience in a global software or technology company is preferred.
Proven experience in a HR role with a focus on strategic HR partnership and complex problem-solving.
Strong ability to influence and collaborate with business leaders to drive HR initiatives and align them with business goals.
Deep understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and organizational development principles.
PREFERRED:
Master’s degree or relevant HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).

HR Analytics: Competency in analyzing HR data and metrics to drive improvements and support strategic decision-making.
Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and internal policies to ensure organizational compliance.
Employee Engagement: Ability to design and execute initiatives that improve employee engagement and organizational culture.
Organizational Development: Knowledge of organizational development practices and experience in leadership development and culture-building.
Policy Management: Experience in reviewing, updating, and enforcing HR policies and procedures.
Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience leading HR projects and initiatives.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities for articulating HR strategies and engaging with various stakeholders.

Duck Creek Technologies supports a flexible-first work environment and has employees throughout the United States. Based on a fair and equitable compensation philosophy, we have five (5) United States pay markets based on regional validated survey market data. The expected salary range for this position is between $111,700 and $180,200. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses. The final compensation may vary due to the above listed factors and be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
