Alfa is looking to recruit a German speaking Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to join our team, based in Germany.
Key responsibilities:
You will lead a team of Alfa consultants supporting a client implementation of Alfa Systems. You will be accountable for the successful completion of Alfa deliverables within the required timescales of the overall program, and you will have responsibility for supervising and supporting members of your team. You will work closely with the client, your team, and the broader Alfa company to ensure success.
The Project Manager will:
Lead a workstream within a larger implementation project, reporting into the Senior Project Manager
Act as the overall Alfa lead for a smaller active implementation, or a customer already live with Alfa Systems upgrading to a newer version, reporting into the Client Account Manager
The Senior Project Manager will:
Act as the overall Alfa lead for a larger and more complex implementation of Alfa Systems, Manager
Both roles will include the following responsibilities:
Manage Alfa deliverables and lead the Alfa project team within a broader enterprise software implementation program, including:
Working with the customer to plan the program, ensuring delivery methodologies are applied in a way that works for the customer’s needs
Tracking progress of Alfa deliverables against the plan, monitoring and managing scope, budget and timeline
Communicating project status internally and to the customer, proactively taking course-correcting actions when necessary
Working closely with the customer and software engineering teams to ensure new Alfa Systems features are delivered within the required timescales of the broader program
Managing risks, issues & dependencies; creating and actioning mitigation plans
Manage resources, including:
Estimating resourcing required to ensure successful completion of deliverables within required timescales
Requesting sufficient and appropriate resources to support customer needs
Supporting, developing & evaluating team members
Building and maintaining an engaged and motivated team, prioritizing a healthy work-life balance
Relationship management, including:
Developing strong and trusting relationships with key client stakeholders, working in partnership with them to ensure they realize the full potential of Alfa Systems
Identifying opportunities where additional Alfa professional services and features will better enable our customers to succeed
Developing a strong internal network at Alfa, working with key team members to ensure knowledge and experience is incorporated into delivery methodologies and Alfa Learning & Development programs
Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies, incorporating industry best practices, prior work experience, and learnings from your Alfa customer engagements
We would love you to have:
Experience leading major deliverables within an enterprise software implementation program
Fluent German and English both written and spoken
Detailed knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and enterprise software implementation
Proven people management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred:
Prior experience working on an Alfa implementation
Experience in the auto finance/equipment finance field
