Job Role: Marketing Manager

Compensation range: $2,500 $3,000 AUD Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to choose working hours. Some overlap with AEST hours is expected to support realtime communication.

With a growing portfolio and untapped marketing opportunities, they are looking for a strategic marketing leader to help take their business to the next level.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Marketing Manager with a strong background in the hotel or hospitality industry. This is an exciting opportunity to lead marketing efforts from the ground up—building strategies, driving campaigns, and implementing initiatives to boost visibility, occupancy rates, and overall revenue.

The ideal candidate will be both a strategist and a handson executor, comfortable advising senior leadership while also rolling up their sleeves to get things done. Experience in sales and a deep understanding of hospitality marketing will be essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy tailored to multiple hotel properties, including proposed approaches to achieve the business’s direct booking and occupancy goals.
  • Design and manage marketing campaigns across digital, print, and traditional channels to increase brand awareness and bookings.
  • Optimise the company’s online presence—oversee website contentdesign, SEO, and social media platforms, ensuring the site supports direct booking growth.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prepare estimated budgets and cost proposals for strategy implementation.
  • Work closely with sales to create promotional offerspackages that drive occupancy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, online booking platforms, and strategic partners.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and guest feedback to refine marketing and sales approaches.
  • Oversee creation of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
  • Monitor campaign performance, prepare monthly KPI reports, and recommend datadriven improvements.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on both sales and marketing opportunities.
    • Requirements

      Required Skills and Qualifications:

      • Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing within the hospitality or hotel industry.
      • Proven track record in both strategic planning and handson execution.
      • Strong knowledge of hotel booking platforms, digital marketing, and brand positioning.
      • Experience in sales or business development in the hospitality sector is highly advantageous.
      • Website design and content management experience (WordPress or similar preferred).
      • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills.
      • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.
      • Strong budget management and KPI reporting skills.
      • Creative mindset with analytical and problemsolving abilities.
      • Professional, mature, and confident when advising senior stakeholders.


        • Work Arrangement & Expectations:

          This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

          To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:

          • Be available for meetings and collaboration during core Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) business hours
          • Attend daily standup meetings with the Pipereply team
          • Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work
          • Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”)
