Electric Propulsion Engineer

We are looking for an Electric Propulsion Engineer on behalf of and in support to our client either as a remote position or onsite at their location in ​Fino Mornasco, Italy​.

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:

• Provide technical expertise and consultancy in propulsion to project teams responsible for spacecraft development;

• • Enhance support for propulsion subsystem activities utilizing Hall thrusterbased propulsion technology and its critical components;

  • • Perform propulsion subsystem level analysis to provide inputs to system budgets;

    • • Develop and validate models for subsystem design;

      • • Identify critical development challenges and assist in their resolution;

        • • Validate analysis results through testing;

          • • Regularly report to the Head of Propulsion and Lead System Engineer.
