POSITION SUMMARY:
World Relief seeks a US Impact Data Manager to lead data strategy, learnings, monitoring, and reporting across U.S. Programs. This role combines vision, project management, and data storytelling to strengthen organizational learning, identify opportunities for improvement, highlight program effectiveness, and support leadership with highquality, actionable insights. The ideal candidate will design and implement a scalable Design, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (DMEAL) data strategy that guides U.S. offices in strengthening their impact measures and reporting, demonstrating continuous improvement in programmatic outcomes. The Impact Data Manager works in close partnership with the DMEAL Officer to ensure that impact measurement is integrated, accessible, and actionable both at the field and the Divisional level.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
DESIGN: what programs aim to achieve and how they will do it
Establish and lead US Programs DMEAL data framework in collaboration with the DMEAL Officer to enable quantitative and qualitative data to be captured, stored, presented, and analyzed.
Work crossdepartmentally to design effective measures for diverse program areas.
Provide earlystage DMEAL guidance for new US Programs projects and collaborative initiatives by identifying required data capture and performance metrics and coordinating with the Impact Systems team to ensure systems readiness for monitoring and reporting.
MONITORING: the ongoing process of measuring progress
Coordinate with US Offices to ensure timely and accurate entry and verification of national and local programming, church, community partners and volunteer data.
Identify and address metrics shortfalls in local offices by conducting regular data quality audits and developing practical guidance tools to strengthen data collection, consistency, and compliance.
Support program teams and Divisional Directors in the integration of data systems into their regular operations, including dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualizations.
EVALUATION: assess the effectiveness, relevance, and impact of programs, using evidence to reflect on what has been achieved and to guide future improvements.
Evaluate the US Programs impact metrics for Organizational Reporting requirements.
Support effective strategic planning conversations and goal setting with each office using data learnings.
Partner with the DMEAL Officer to deliver training for US Office staff, building their skills in data collection, management, analysis, and interpretation to strengthen program monitoring and learning.
ACCOUNTABILITY: an active commitment and process to balance and respond to the information needs of all project stakeholders
Champion WR monitoring and evaluation, and data management quality standards ensuring data practices remain current with industry standards.
Work collaboratively across teams to establish annual baseline metrics and gather new fiscal year data goals for US Programs.
Coordinate quality assurance of program metrics across US Offices, ensuring timely and accurate data to support external and internal reporting, learning, and continuous improvement.
Identify monitoring & evaluation barriers and gaps and report to appropriate internal stakeholders.
LEARNING: facilitate a culture of continuous learning by integrating reflection and adaptation based on accurate data, validated information and stakeholder experiences.
Inform the development of dashboards, data briefs, and visual reports that provide required reporting and actionable insights for leadership and other stakeholders at multiple levels.
Collaborate with technical leads and the Impact Systems team to improve access to and use of data for learning and fundraising.
